How the hell did they survive

Documentary about three French-Moroccan brothers who are arrested by the secret police in 1973, after which they seem to have disappeared from the face of the earth. Although they have never been accused of anything, they are locked up without trial in utter solitude and total darkness. Without medical and physical care, they have to survive the harsh climate in their cells. After more than 18 years, they are suddenly released. They arrive almost blind, exhausted and terribly emaciated at Paris airport. In this film, the brothers tell about the background to their sudden imprisonment and how they managed to survive under the harsh conditions.
